Find Right Affiliate Product to Promote

4:13 AM

(0) Comments

Choosing the right products to promote in affiliate promotions is crucial for a number of reasons - the two main ones being:

1. Relevant Products are Key - if your blog draws an audience centered around a particular topic or demographic you’re unlikely to be able to sell products that have no relevancy to your blog’s topic.

2. The Quality of Products can Impact Your Long Term Brand - promote low quality products and you could be hurting your brand. Readers remember who they heard about products from and their trust of you and your blog will be increased or decreased by what you recommend to them.

So - choosing the right affiliate product is crucial. It not only impacts conversions and profitability but it impacts your brand and relationships with readers.

A few tips and thoughts on finding affiliate programs to promote come to mind:

  1. Google It - this one isn’t rocket science but it does work. If you have a Beauty Product blog google “Beauty Products Affiliate Program”. Insert your main keywords into that search and you may just find products that are relevant to your niche.
  2. Look at Your Competition - what products are other people promoting in your niche. Quite often a quick glance down the sidebar of another successful blog in your niche to see what products and services they are promoting will reveal affiliate products you could promote to (and it could also point you to some relevant advertisers to promote).
  3. Check out AdSense Ads - many of the AdSense ads appearing besides Google search results, on other blogs and even on your own blog are likely to be products with affiliate programs attached. Don’t click the ads on your own blog but checking out what the ads promote can reveal all kinds of potential affiliate partners. The same thing is true with other types of advertising. For example I was recently surfing on Facebook and saw an ad relevant for my blog - on clicking it I found a new product with an affiliate program that I’d not heard of before.
  4. Approach Potential Affiliate Partners - this one might not work if you’re a new blog with small traffic but as your blog grows you might find yourself in a position to approach the makers of a product or service to see if they’d start some kind of affiliate program for you. I’ve done this a couple of times over the last year and it has been great. The best part of it is that you get a head start on your competition for the promotion as you’re likely to be the only person promoting it.
  5. Search Affiliate networks - lastly there are quite a few affiliate networks around that list many affiliate programs. Most of these have search functions to allow you to type in keywords and find promotions relevant to your niche. Check out MarketLeverage, Clickbank, Commission Junction, PepperJam Network (disclaimer, MarketLeverage sponsors ProBlogger) and many more.
  6. Search Online Stores for Products - many online stores like Amazon have affiliate programs attached to them. In general the comissions are not massive (for example Amazon’s range from as low as 4% up to 15% depending upon the type of product and how much you sell) - I guess they have narrower profit margins) - but stores like this have a massive range of products and can be a good place to start while you build traffic and find other programs.

(0) Comments

Are you have a targeted reader or reviewer of your article, tip, or book? There is some tips for make sure your article, tip, or book will get published. Please use this checklist to make sure your article, tip, or book excerpt will get published and make you a household name on the Internet.

  1. Does the title grab you and include a benefit? Make sure it is clear, but clever and clear is great.
  2. Does the opening grab your attention? How? You need a hook in your short 1-3 sentence introduction. A shocking fact, drama, or question about where your audience is, their challenge.
  3. Avoid starting sentences with "This is, there is, She is/was." Avoid passive construction such as: have, is, was, seems, appears. Replace "Judy is a book coach" with Book coach, Judy Cullins, digs her client's buried treasure (their words) up to make their books saleable gems. Aim for only 2-4% passives. Use strong, action verbs instead.
  4. Punch up those sentences. Instead of "people who are assertive are willing to stand up for themselves," say, "Assertive people stand up for themselves."
  5. Reduce general words. Replace them with specifics that are more compelling to the reader. Instead of "saves you time," use "saves you 10 hours a week, so you can finally take that vacation to that Caribbean island."
  6. Shorten all sentences for Online reading. Did you know that 15-17 words per sentence is standard? Over that number the sentence is "difficult?" We write differently for Online because we are busy people who want information fast!
  7. Use the present or past tense instead of "would have" and other passive forms. These verb forms help your article's clarity and give punch to it.
  8. Show, don't tell. Instead of saying this book helps you to a healthy life, say after you read my book, you will have "leap out of bed energy."
  9. Reduce the use of adjectives and adverbs. Avoid all -ly adverbs. Make your nouns and verbs describe. Use the senses of sight, sound, emotions, touch. Instead of "Suddenly, she yelled at Tom," just say," She opened the front door and yelled at Tom."
  10. Discuss only one point per article to help you write focused, compelling copy for the rest. Check out your article's thesis. What question does your article answer?

Remember, for opt-in ezine publishers to take your article and spread the good word about you, you need to submit a quality, well-edited article that will wow them.

These rules are the key to speeding up your web pages. They've been tested on some of the most popular sites on the Internet and have successfully reduced the response times of those pages by 25-50%.

The key insight behind these best practices is the realization that only 10-20% of the total end-user response time is spent getting the HTML document to the browser. You need to focus on the other 80-90% if you want to make your pages noticeably faster. These rules are the best practices for optimizing the way servers and browsers handle that 80-90% of the user experience.

These pages are the companion web site for the book High Performance Web Sites. The examples referenced in the book are hosted here. Navigate through the rules listed below to find the associated examples. Each rule page also contains a link to the Yahoo! Developer Network Performance Blog. 12 Secrets To Website Success

10:07 AM

(0) Comments

Are you finally getting around to getting a website set up for your company? Or, are you ready to have your existing website redesigned because you're unhappy with the way it looks or performs?

If so, you'll want the new website to be successful. In fact, as more and more business and consumers research and make purchases online, a successful website is critical to the success of your business. So, what can you do to make the new website successful? And how can you build a successful website on a small business budget?

Here are twelve secrets to website success.

  1. Have specific goals for your website.
  2. Know your customer or site visitors and what they want to get out of your site.
  3. Have pages dedicated to specific items or subjects the customer or site visitor is looking for.
  4. Don't make the home page of your site a "flash" animation. Web visitors routinely skip those animations (or just leave) because they aren't interested in pretty graphics. They want facts. If you're going to use flash to demonstrate your product (or a video) let people choose to view it, don't force them to.
  5. Make it easy for visitors to find what they want. Use a simple navigation structure, and if you absolutely must use drop down menus, make sure visitors can actually click on the links without the drop down rolling up before the person hits the link they want.
  6. If you're selling products, have category pages plus individual pages for each type of product. (For example, if you are selling jewelry, have one page for earrings with links to individual pages for different types of earrings, such as diamond earrings, ruby earrings, pearl earrings, etc.)
  7. Pay attention to search engine optimization (SEO) in setting up pages. The more closely the page title, page description, and keywords match what someone would search for, the more likely they'll find the website, and the more likely they'll buy whatever product is advertised on the page.
  8. Have a means for legally and ethically capturing visitors' email addresses so you can contact them in the future.
  9. Plan to advertise and market your site on an ongoing basis through all methods available to you.
  10. Track and measure traffic, bounce rates, sales conversions and progress.
  11. Ask for feedback from site visitors.
  12. Stay in contact with site visitors (those who gave you their email addresses) on a regular basis so they remember to come back to your website.

Top 3 Traffic Generation Techniques

12:05 PM

(0) Comments

Did you know that over 580 million people worldwide now have access to the Internet? That's a lot of potential customers, yet most webmasters still have trouble even getting a few hundred visitors a month.

Do you want to know a few secrets that will explode your Internet business into the stratosphere? I'm sure you do, so listen up because I'm going to share with you my most closely guarded traffic generation secrets that have consistently generated hundreds of targeted visitors to my websites everyday.

Traffic generation technique #1 - Getting listed on

GoogleGoogle is currently the most popular search engine on the Internet and is one of the only search engines that still list webpages for free. If you get listed on Google, your webpages will also appear on Yahoo, AOL and several other search engines, resulting in lots of quality free traffic to your website.

Step 1. Find popular key terms related your website using the search term suggestion tool. http://inventory.overture.com/

Step 2. Check if your key terms have a lot of competition. Google ranks each website's importance from 1-10 according to how many popular websites are linking back to it. It displays each webpage's ranking on the Google toolbar. You can download the Google toolbar here: http://toolbar.google.com/

Search for your key terms using the Google toolbar and if the top 5 websites for your key terms have a Google PageRank of more than 5, don't bother trying to compete. Ideally, you want the top 5 websites to have a PageRank of 4 or less.

Step 3. When you have 2 or 3 good key terms, use them throughout your website.

Step 4. Swap links with other websites. You want your link to appear on as many webpages as possible that have a Google PageRank of 4 or higher. Create a new page on your website to include links to your link partners' websites and swap links with as many high ranking websites as you can. Google will find your links on other popular websites and list your website at the top of the search engine for the keywords you chose.

Traffic generation technique #2 - Article submissions

Get your website published in hundreds of ezines and websites around the world for free. Simply write an informative article related to your business and send it out to ezine publishers, article announcement lists and websites that accept article submissions. If you include a small ad for your website at the bottom of each article, you're guaranteed to get hundreds of visitors to your website who already respect you and are ready to buy! There are thousands of places on the Internet that accept articles. Searching for "submit an article" on Google returned 955,000 results! That should keep you busy for a while ;-)

Traffic generation technique #3 - Pay per click search engines

You can bid on keywords related to your website and get a guaranteed listing in the search engines. You only pay the amount you bid if someone reads your website's description and actually clicks through to your website. Many pay per click search engines start bids at $0.01 per click. That's 100 targeted visitors for only $1! Better still, may pay per click search engines offer free advertising credits just for trying them out. Do a search for "free pay per click search engines" and tap into to this unlimited source of traffic today.

Affiliate: How To Succeed With ClickBank

11:04 AM

(0) Comments

If you are in the affiliate marketing business, you may already know or at least heard about clickbank - an Internet retailer that sells digital products, such as ebooks and software to millions of customers per year. It is one of the best places to create streaming passive income that you can use to create a successful and profitable home business.

Due to there are so many products in this online marketplace, as an affiliate, how to select and succeed with the products that you choose to promote. Following those tips may be able to help you toward to your clickbank success.

1. Find and Selecting a Suitable Product

You can search for a product at the clickbank marketplace where several thousand vendors display their products in an organized directory. When you searched the product, you shall look into following these criteria,

a) Is it the right product to promote - look at the product price and commission rates first to see whether the product that you aim for that offers a reasonable rate of commission or not. To make your efforts worthwhile, the commission rate offer has to be at least 50 percent otherwise it will not worth your time to promote it. Be aware that clickbank deducts transaction fees from a sale as well.

b) Is it an in-demand item - the marketplace listings are ranked by popularity, so you can see clearly which are the in-demand items and products. Popularity is determined by a number of factors, the main factor is the amount of sales and the number of affiliates who are making the sales over the last 8 weeks.

c) How effective is the sales page - visit the sales page of an item or a product to study and confirm that the sales copy does a good job of selling the product.

Check Out Vendor's Affiliate Support

The vendor should provide you with much more than just a link to join the affiliate program. So the first thing you want to do is to check out whether there any useful promotional material (e.g. sample ads, articles, solo mailings, endorsement/reviews, signatures) on vendor's sales page or not. Ideally there will be an affiliate mailing list so that the vendor can convey useful news and send it to you. You want to work with someone reliable who won't disband a program or make rule changes without telling you.

If you want to know how responsive the vendor is, you can send a short email with a simple inquiry to find out.

2. Look for Sales Page "Leaks"

As an affiliate you want your visitor to read through the sales page and hit that order button with you getting credit for the sale. Well, the true fact is that a sale doesn't really happen that easy, here are the reasons of why:

a) There is an overt link to an affiliate sign up page, which could give your potential customer a chance to simply become an affiliate and purchase the product himself.

b) The vendor offers multiple payment options so if clickbank is not the one got chosen, and then you do not get the commission.

c) The product is just one of many unrelated products on a page, which can be a put-off for the potential customer. The reason for why a vendor put so many products on one page is because he has to follow clickbank's policy, which is that all the products shall belong to one clickbank account and it is restricted to can have only one affiliate landing page.

d) There are many external links which distract the visitor from reaching the order page.

3. Promoting the product

Once you are happy with the product and the affiliate programs in which you see it is worth your time to promoting and it doesn't suffer from the potential 'leaks', then you can start:

a) Sign up for the affiliate program and check the validity by clicking on your affiliate link and following through to the clickbank order page where you should see [affiliate=yournickname] at the bottom.

If you don't see it, then you may have incorrectly formatted your clickbank hoplink or it's possible that the affiliate program has been discontinued.

b) Link cloaking - the basic clickbank's hoplink is not 'protected'. A customer or a site visitor can simply substitute his own nickname and get commission for the purchase. There are techniques and tools which can encrypt (or cloak) your hoplink to prevent link theft.

c) Getting traffic - now you want to get targeted visitors to come to visit your site and click on your clickbank affiliate hoplink and make a purchase.

If you own and use the product, the best way to get targeted traffic is to write your own product review to let others know exactly how and why you use it, what are the benefits that you got or what are the advantage and disadvantage of the product etc.

No matter what kind of products or items you decide to promote, be selective, be informed, and always be willing to ask questions or make changes to your strategies when needed.

First Steps In Starting a Business After Losing a Steady Job

10:49 AM

(0) Comments

You either lost or quit your job last month. You have been working in Human Resources (an example) for 10 years at this company and before that at another company for 8 years. You have one kid in college and the other two are young adults living on their own. Now What?

Last week you had a daily routine, health insurance coverage, and a regular paycheck. You have always dreamed about working for yourself but you never took the risk. Now that you have been laid off or you know the company is going under the risk to leave your job isn't that great. You understand that trying to find another job with hundreds of thousands of people also unemployed will be almost impossible. This is as good a time as any to, at the least, make an attempt to fulfill your dream.

Sometimes finding a new job or starting a new career is less risky than staying in your current employment. A career change can be done with some planning. The key is to research your options thoroughly.

Your first step is to decide what your goals are and what you want to do.

If you have not done some serious soul searching by now, this will take some serious thinking on your part and may even require outside counseling. Take your time. You are in this for the long term. Thinking about long-term goals from the start will keep you grounded and help you determine how to proceed.

Once you are clear on your goals, ask yourself what specific skills, knowledge, money, resources, information and contacts you need to bring to your self employment. A career change may be a change of direction in your current job such as working for yourself rather than the company.

A career change may require going back to school and gaining new skills so that you can do what it is that you want to do. More and more people are doing this and you will be surprised to find lots of people within your age bracket that are back in school, learning to study all over again. In what areas would your work experience be of benefit to you?

If you know what you want to do you are already half way there so don't sit there and wait for something to happen. This is the best time to talk to your family, let them know what you are planning, and ask them for support. Transparency is the new political buzz word and it works for families, also.

Keep your ties to your old company. Very often, former companies are the sources of first outside contracts for the self employed especially if you are freelancing in the same area. Network with them and be prepared to make networking in general a full-time job.

How to Get Website Traffic?

8:18 PM

The Basics: How Search Engines Work?

First, let’s look at how crawler-based search engines work (both Google and Yahoo fall in this category). Each search engine has its own automated program called a "web spider" or "web crawler" that crawls the web. The main purpose of the spider is to crawl web pages, read and collect the content, and follow the links (both internal and external). The spider then deposits the information collected into the search engine’s database called the index. When searchers enter a query in the search box of a search engine, the search engine’s job is to find the most relevant results to the query by matching the search query to the information in its index.

What makes or breaks a search engine is how well it answers your question when you perform a search. That’s based on what’s called the search engine algorithm which is basically a bunch of factors that the search engine uses to say “hey is this page RELEVANT or NOT?”. The higher your page ranks for these factors (yes some factors are more important than others) than the higher your page will get displayed in the search engine result pages.

What is SEO

Search engine optimization(SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results. Typically, the earlier a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.

As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work and what people search for. Optimizing a website primarily involves editing its content and HTML coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines.

The acronym "SEO" can also refer to "search engine optimizers," a term adopted by an industry of consultants who carry out optimization projects on behalf of clients, and by employees who perform SEO services in-house. Search engine optimizers may offer SEO service as a stand-alone service or as a part of a broader marketing campaign. Because effective SEO may require changes to the HTML source code of a site, SEO tactics may be incorporated into web site development and design. So it needs Search engine professionals.

Why SEO is necessary

Building a website without search engine optimization is just like that a car without engine.

It may look beautiful, have all the bells and whistles, and make you proud to know it is yours. But without the engine, without the guts, it will never get you where you want to go. Website optimization is essential to gaining traffic. Without traffic your website is just like that car without a motor. Pretty, maybe. But, chances are you wanted it to function as well.

Search engines are used daily by four out of five internet users. Of adults aged 30-49, 82% are internet users. Of those aged 50-64 70% are internet users. Internet use rises proportionately with education and household income. Your website must be found within the search engine results pages, to be an effective advertising medium for your company. Being found in the search results is absolutely necessary to drive traffic to your website.

80% of all internet users say they stop looking for a site after 30 results. That is typically 3 pages of search engine results pages with 10 results on each page. Eye tracking studies have shown, your best bet is to be 'above the fold' or on the top portion of the page, on the left.

It stands to reason that the higher your site is positioned within a search engine or directory, the more you will increase your website traffic. Optimizing your website for higher search engine ranking and strategically planning keyword inclusion is a measurable/traceable method of attracting self-qualified customers. Its importance is critical.

What a Website Needs to Succeed!

A Proven Formula for All Websites

Every business needs a website. It is an absolute MUST! Nowadays, it’s like not being in the phone book. The Internet is a digitally-indexed database that is searchable. Whenever anyone wants to know more about anything, they look it up on the Internet, in their own time, 24/7, without the pressure of a sales person. With search engines, such as Google.com or Yahoo.com, the information they are looking for can be found in seconds.

If you aren’t where people are looking, you CAN’T get the sale.

Even if you aren’t planning on selling anything online, you still need to have an Internet presence, telling your story and being a 24/7 sales person for you. The Internet is information. So, even if you just have an informational website, people can find out more about you, your company, what you have to offer, and why they should choose you over your competition. A website gives you the opportunity to get all of that across to your potential customer.

Following, are proven components of a website and why you will need them in yours.

A Home Page is the window into your website and should be short, sweat, and to the point. Statistically, it has been proven that you get about 3 seconds, once a person arrives at your website, to get them interested enough to click for more information. If you can get them to click, then you have them! If you try to give them all of the information at once, then you will lose them.

Some websites try to give you their inventory on the home page, or write a story that scrolls forever. This is not good. A home page should not scroll. This is a big “No No”. When people get to a home page and see paragraphs, trust me, they go on to the next website. It needs graphics that represent the services, happy pictures, happy customers, and a quick sales pitch. Remember, people are lazy and won’t read large amounts of text, unless they have a need to. And included on the home page, needs to be quickly gotten across, why someone should use you over your competitor.

The About Us page sometimes gets left off, in favor of making the home page the About Us page. You will want to have an About Us page that explains in detail what you have to offer, your history, your mission statement, and a good reason that a potential customer should use buy from you over your competitor. This can be seen as the detailed version of the home page. However, it is a mistake to forgo the About Us page in exchange for a detailed home page. Again, this will just push people away who do not want to read all of the details to find out who you are and what you have to offer. This information should be available for those who wish to see more information after they are intrigued by the home page.

Design rules. For uniformity and good design, websites (any marketing piece) should have rules for graphic elements and text. For example, all headings should be the same size/style/color, etc. All subheads should have their own size/style/color, etc. This helps the eye make sense of what it is looking at. Guide your visitor with well-placed graphics and text.

Make sure that your website has good navigation, with buttons/links for all main sections of your website. And be sure to keep these navigation buttons/links visible on ANY page. There is nothing more frustrating than to not be able to find your way while browsing a website. People will leave before becoming too frustrated. Don’t let this happen on your website!

The constant, flashing email (or other) button/advertisement is a "No No" these days. In the old days, flashing and blinking graphics were used. As websites became more graphically sophisticated, these types of elements were not used any more. It can be annoying to see something flashing just off your vision, when you are trying to read the web page.

Text links at the bottom are rarely used any more. They were implemented back in the day of the text-based websites, when they were just starting out. This was for the dial-up users who had the option to turn off graphics for faster web page loading. When this happened, there were no links for navigation, unless a webmaster placed text links at the bottom. Nowadays, most people have broadband connections, and this just isn't necessary any more.

The biggest problem I see with websites these days is that a person has to read quite a bit to see what, exactly, a website is selling. When people show up at your website, you get about 3 seconds to peak their interest. Get it across very quickly, with icons/graphics/bullet points that are easy to understand. Tell them why they should choose you over your competition. And then tell them where to go to get started.

Another very important element is testimonials. More important than telling them why a potential customer should use your services over your competitions’, is a customer of yours saying the same thing. Not only is a testimonial someone who used your services, but they can say "how" you were able to help them. This gives new potential customers ideas on how your services will help “them”. Testimonials are also sales pitches from your happy customers, people just like them. They are people who were in the same position as they are right now and they got through it, so they can too. They also build credibility. When you are endorsed by other people, you have credibility and that you can do what you say you can do. And even though they may be saying the same thing that you are saying, it is coming from someone just like them, and not someone who is trying to sell them anything. They have nothing to gain by saying this. You do. So they need to hear from them. You absolutely MUST have endorsements for your business; otherwise, you are just blowing your own horn!

The next best thing to a testimonial page is an FAQ page. An FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page answers questions for your company 24/7, when you can't be at the phone to answer, and for people who would rather look over your information than speak to someone who might try to sell them something. FAQs also help to give scenarios of how they can be helped, by answering questions that other potential customers have asked, and they might not have thought of themselves. This gets them thinking and gives them answers in a risk-free environment. It is VERY important to have an FAQ working for you 24/7. It's like having a free sales person working for you around the clock, fielding all questions that might come up! It's a MUST-have for ANY website!

Your website should also have a clear "call to action". A lot of websites say that “we are here and we do this”, but they don't tell them how to get started, or tell them where to go to get started right now... no call to action. Now that they have the information, now what? People are like sheep. They must be led. You must lead them to the next level; otherwise, they probably won't get there. You should have calls to action by all services, and on your home page. You should sprinkle testimonials throughout, as well, leading them back to the full testimonials and then to the call to action, which should be placed on the testimonials page, as well. You could offer a FREE Consultation by calling right now… or click HERE now to email us 24/7 for a FREE Consultation… something that tells them where to go from here and a reason to get started right now and how.

There also needs to be graphics to help tell the story; high-end icons that help draw the eye to the item of interest, to get them to read it. Having a text-only page usually does not get read. People are lazy and will not usually read paragraphs of information in hopes of getting the information they are looking for. They would have to first be extremely interested before reading the “fine print”. And to get them interested, it should be broken up with graphics that represent each section. They will see the related graphic first, and then move to that area if interested. But to give them a page of information usually doesn't work.

You also need meta tags. This is very important to search engines. These are hidden key words and phrases that describe what you offer, but also your location, etc. Search engines rely heavily on key words and phrases in order to give your website as a result in a search done for your type of business. In fact, it is also good to have misspelled keywords that people might type in order to find you. Obviously, you won’t want to have misspelled words or phrases on your page, since this will give the wrong impression of who you are. With meta tags, misspelled words are hidden in the code of the website, but can be used to bring people to your website who may not be able to correctly spell some your services. Even putting your competitions’ names and products in your meta tags can help get traffic to your site, so that they can compare your products and services to your competitors’.

Another item that puts you high on the search engine results listing is having articles about your type of business, both on your website, and other websites that link back to yours for more information on the subject. Offering free information makes you an authority on the subject, not just someone trying to sell their wares. This plays heavily in search results, along with one-way links back to your website. When you get one-way links back to your site for more information, this gives you much credibility and definitely helps to make you an authority that other sites rely on. So when someone looks up your type of product or service for more information, obviously the search engine will give a site that has the most helpful and free information (and one that other sites rely on for more information on this subject) a higher rating and puts them higher on the search results list.

A FREE Tips & Tricks or Hints page is also a good way to get relevant traffic. People are always looking for How-To's and DIY information on all types of subjects. On my site I have FREE Tech Tips that get hits all the time, which pertain to my services. Again, a percentage of these hits click on my services. And the only way I got them there was because of the FREE How-To's that I offer. So, you have to entice people to your site, by offering more than your competitor's website. This is where these types of pages come in handy.

It is also good to have a Privacy Policy page. This shows integrity and also builds credibility and a higher ranking in the search engines. This is one item that search engines look for, in particular. Websites with a page dedicated to a Privacy Policy get a higher ranking and your site will show up higher in the search results.

A Guarantee page is also a good idea. Again, this gives credibility and will give you an edge over your competitor, who may not offer a guarantee. A website that has a guarantee, but is hard to find, makes a potential customer feel like they have something to hide and may not purchase from that website. However, if you have an easy-to-find Guarantee that you put right in their face (whether you dedicate a page to it, or you put it right on the Home page), it eases potential customers into a buying position.

You may want to have a form that allows a customer to request more information about your product or service, and which also lets the customer type in their personal information and what they are looking for. This not only helps you by getting their contact information, it also helps by prompting the potential customer into thinking about other aspects. By doing it this way, you will also get all of the information needed to correctly quote a product or service more effectively, without having to make additional phone calls to the customer. The more common way of requesting information is just by posting an INFO email address and hope that the person requesting the info knows enough about what he is looking for to provide all of the info to get a good quote. This is not usually the case. Most of the time they need a form to fill out. In most cases, there is info that is left out. A form ensures that you get everything needed to quote the product or service accurately. And, also, by offering a form to request more info, leads will be generating 24-7 for you. All you have to do is the quote and give them a call. This reduces the need for cold-calling, and gives you an excuse to call and close the deal.

If you incorporate all of the above pages, along with the “way” these pages should be shown, your website will have a higher ranking in the search engines, which puts your website higher in the search results, thus significantly increasing the traffic to your website!

The above categories aren't the only things you can do to increase traffic to your website. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) should also be done, as well as swapping links with relevant websites, and posting articles and links back to your website from online article and content websites.

Choosing niche words for earn money by Blogging

7:54 PM

Although there are a lot of ways that you can make money on the Internet, blogging is probably one of the easiest for a beginner to get started with. As a matter of fact, if you do things properly you can expect to earn money by blogging within just a few days, or perhaps a week at the most. While I'm not guaranteeing that you are going to get rich overnight, I can tell you that if you choose your words carefully, you will have a much better opportunity to put some money in your pocket.

The reason why it is so important for you to choose your words carefully if you expect to earn money by blogging is that choosing words at random will not pull any people into your website. Using tools such as WordTracker.com, MicroNiche Finder, or even the free keyword tool at Google will allow you to find out what people are actually searching for on the Internet. By using these keyword phrases in your blog post, and targeting them properly, you will have the best opportunity to get real people from the search engines to visit your blog.

Of course, in order to earn money by blogging you're going to have to use these keywords in the right way. Trying to target keywords that have millions of competing webpages is, quite simply, not going to get you anywhere. Look for keyword phrases that are two or more words in length and then check your competition by searching for that phrase in Google. This will give you a better example of who is trying to target that keyword phrase, especially if you search for it in quotes. You should then use it in the title of the blog post and again once or twice in the article. A good rule of thumb is is to use your keyword phrase about once very 100 words.

Of course, there is more involved when you try to earn money by blogging, but using the right keywords is really the best starting point. From there, finding suitable advertisers and placing the advertising on the page properly is an important next step. It is also imperative that you are persistent in your blogging efforts and that you continue to write on a daily basis. By following these general rules, you will have the best opportunity to earn money by blogging and to actually put some cash in your pocket from your efforts.

Earn money from Blogging

By now, almost everybody is familiar with blogging even if they are only casually familiar with the term. For some people, however, they realize that there is a real possibility to earn money from blogging, if only they were able to do it properly. I have been involved in Internet marketing for many years and I have to tell you that blogging is one of the easiest ways for a newbie to begin earning money that has come along in quite some time. Of course, you need to follow some general guidelines and to make sure that you earn money from blogging properly. Here are 3 different ways for you to do so.

The first way, and probably one of the most popular ways to earn money from blogging is by using a program that is known as Google Adsense. This program was set up by Google several years ago in order to allow webmasters to place contextual advertising directly on their webpage. Simply insert a few lines of code into your template and Google will target your visitors with advertising that is directly related to whatever it is you are blogging about. Every time somebody clicks on one of your ads, you receive a commission.

A second way for you to earn money from blogging is by using affiliate programs. Although this can be a little bit more difficult than using Google Adsense, it can also be much more profitable if you do it properly. Many niches lend themselves to high-paying affiliate programs, and if you are involved in one of those niches you have the ability to make large commissions. Choosing an affiliate program that is directly related to your content is imperative. If your blog is about cars you cannot expect to sell houses. Always be looking in order to find out what affiliate programs are available for you.

A final way for you to earn money from blogging is by selling your own product. It is possible for you to sell a physical product to your blog visitors but it is much easier for you to sell a digitally downloadable product, such as an e-book. Since you are targeting specific niches in your blog, you already know what those people are interested in before they arrive on your page. By writing and informative e-book on the subject, you have the opportunity to sell it to those visitors.

Choosing a free blogging services

7:37 PM

Getting your information out on the Internet is easier now than it has ever been in the past. This is because of all the different free blogging services that are available. For many of them, it is a simple matter of point and click and within just a few seconds, your pictures, text and videos have been uploaded to your own personal blog. Although there are a lot of free blogging services that are available out there, there are some reasons why you might want to choose carefully. Here are a few general guidelines for you to follow.

First of all, you need to understand that not all free blogging services are created equally. Some of them are going to offer you simplicity while others are going to offer you so many different options that it can easily become overwhelming. It also depends a lot on what you plan on doing with your blog. If you are just posting a personal blog, you can really choose any of the services that you like. If you are planning on making money from your blog, there are some services that you should avoid altogether.

For personal blogs, one of the easiest ways for you to go is to use one of the new Web 2.0 platforms. The reason why this is the case is because you not only get your personal blog, but you also are part of a larger community. Many of these platforms also offer you the ability to change your theme easily and to add different elements that will enhance your blogging experience. For the most part, however, these type of platforms should be avoided if you plan on making money with advertising. Although they may put advertising on your page, they do this in compensation of offering you the free service. You, on the other hand, are not permitted to do any advertising at all.

If you plan on making money with your blog, one of the only free blogging services that I would recommend is Blogger.com. This is owned by Google so you can almost guarantee that you are going to be listed in the search engines rather quickly. Best of all, you have a wide range of options that are available to you which includes adding any type of advertising that you see fit. Blogger.com an excellent way for you to get your feet wet with the free blogging services.

Colours could help create a SUPER website

7:15 PM

One facet of a well devised web-site is its colour scheme. Colour selection is vital in creating the look that the site's owner wants to portray. If the look of the site does not meet the users expectations, then they will leave and maybe never go back to the site. This is repeatedly the reason why a website is not doing as well as it should be. Knowing about colour picture can make life a whole lot easier when deciding on a colour scheme for a site.

Knowing which colours could irritate and which can calm is important in giving the user the right impression and experience of the site. Why would you hunger for to anger a user when you need them to buy from your website? Colour contrast and symmetry is another technique to be aware of. It may be used to point users attention to desired pages of zones within the site.Below is a list of the most leading colours and their emotional connotations.

Blue could allude depth, professionalism, trust and honour. Dark blue is used by many corporate companies but this colour could also be construed as cold. The colour black is about power, style, evil and mourning. Rock music acts frequently use black backgrounds because of its association with the dark side and anger. The colour yellow could symbolise wealth, joy optimism and punch. Using yellow in website design is a fabulous guise to make components stand out from the rest of the site.

Black could be related to death, mourning, power and style. Legions heavy metal bands use black as their main colour due to its links with death and evil.Yellow summons up visions of summer, joy and optimism. It is a colour that could be overwhelming and if used in conjunction with black, it creates a warning feel.Like yellow, red is a colour that is associated with love, sex and power. It too may be over powering if over used, but it is famed to attract attention.

Like green, brown is associated with mother earth, calm and relaxation. There is a trend to use wood textures as a background colour to give the feel of the environment and organics.Light grey is commonly used to create shiny gradient effects in web design. The colour may be associated with elegance, stability and boredom.

Brown stands for confidence, reassurance, dirt and poverty. Just like green, it may be used to make a site feel calm and relaxed. It is very well-liked with web sites to do with nature.Purple can be a very rich colour and it is associated with religion as well as wealth and royalty. It does not seem to be as accepted as other colours in web design but, if used effectively, it may give a site a perception of elegance.

Knowing about what colours symbolise and the subconscious power of them could be of notable benefit when foreseeing websites. By knowing the target audience, web designers may thoughtfully pick colours which connect to the end user thus creating the site appealing and attractive. E-commerce areas could be improved by guiding the user to the buy now button by drawing attention and creating contrast.

Method to resolving "Failure" for being Success

7:09 PM

(0) Comments

Many years ago, one of the early founders to launch the "Air conditioning Industry" Mr Willis Carrier had a huge problem on his hands, as the equipment which he had just pioneered costing millions of dollars had not quite performed as anticipated, and already, some large volume of these had been commissioned.

This unexpected result was to cost the organisation a huge loss, and for him, a big blow to his reputation which till then was respectable in his ranking within the Senior Management.

Mr Carrier reckoned that this particular "Major Disaster and Blow to himself and to the Company" would see him being sent off a broken and disgraced man. He had sleepless nights, tossed and toiled in his confusion about this loss. Several times he asked himself how he was to own up, how he was to tell his family, how he could envisage going with such a mess left behind him. These worrying sensations continued, until all of a sudden, he decided to switch on his Thinking Cap.

Now, he thought to himself, what's the worse that can really happen? Ok, he'll lose his job in disgrace, and then he said, what's the next thing that could happen? He thought he would then have to pick himself up and go searching for a new job, perhaps slightly different from what he was doing then, but with the knowledge and experience behind him most employers he figured would want him.

After analysing all this, he picked himself up, wrote down all he had learned from his setback, and decided boldly to face his bosses with the hard truth, and other vital information he felt that would need to be applied to this problem in order to set things straight from the case of Losing Millions of dollars to that of Breaking Even and then Building up to Long Term Success.

Ok, what do you think happened when he bravely met up with his bosses?

He went through in detail explaining the facts and information that he had already researched. He presented them with alternatives and the reason for the massive setback plus how to correct it.

In this particular case, his bosses were convinced and accepted his proposals, agreeing to put them to the test. They had several more tests and eventually it was a success. Mr Carrier kept his job, kept his dignity and went on to create ongoing success for the organisation.

The blows of the initial trials had vanished because he reframed his initial setback, picking the learning's and moving on to review his options for success. If he had done the opposite, we'd be looking at an entirely different story now.

So, let's look at the term "Failure" in the light of the above example, because some people would view failure as something that didn't quite go according to their original or revised plan, hence they see it as a Failure.

In any case, whatever your circumstances or definition of failure, looking at it from an entirely different angle, the term "failure" could be reframed or put into a different context, which then transforms it to an entirely different meaning in such a way that you can see some benefits from the experiences gained. Sometimes benefits may not be immediately obvious as this may take a while to understand or appreciate.

This interpretation of reframing "failure" in the context of your new experience or learning's from an event, transforms the setback to an empowering resource, giving you options for change and improvement from the current position.

The reality here is that in any situation, when you're in a position to move on from the past setbacks, rather than having the mindset of "Failure", switch it to that of "Feedback" for growth. So you use the setback you've experienced as vital feedback for your ongoing growth and improvement in different areas of your life.

In the earlier example with Mr Carrier and the Installation that didn't quite go as planned, the vital results from the initial tests and setbacks were precious for the necessary improvement and Quality Control of the Product and to ensure that the organisation maintained Value to its customers.

Another example also is that of someone I know in the past who could never really settle to any job for longer than six months at a time, and so he went from one job to another, like a vicious circle. An incident in his life meant that he had to be off work for more than seven months, and it was within that time that he began to seek his real passion for work and lifestyle from deep within him.

He asked himself various questions in his quiet time, thought about what he really wanted to do including retracing experiences he had gained from his success ventures and setbacks he had learned from along the way. For him, it was then that he decided to put together his master plan for setting up a Training Organisation in the field that he really loved, and he has settled in this since.

So, in summary, the way we look at setbacks in our lives will also help to shape how we move on with different situations as we face Life's Challenges.

Now, in readiness to take charge and press on with life, review any setback with the anticipation of learning from that experience, at the same time, endeavour to carefully pick the learning's for you in particular, and let go of the negative emotions and feelings associated with the event or experience.

You'll find that once you truly let go, the release of the negative energy will actually set you free on your way to making changes in your desired direction. If you feel you need to engage a Professional Counsellor to do this, then do as your own Inner Mind directs you.

The Empowering Reality however in life is that "There are no Failures" only "Feedback". Always bear this in mind. If we decide to use the knowledge and experience gained in Life's Challenges as stepping stones for improvement, then we begin to realise the absolute release of Unlimited Creative Energy, lying dormant within us, and waiting to be given direction in which way to turn.

Get your website listed at the top of Google

6:51 PM

(0) Comments

The biggest challenge every single website owner has (including me) is getting traffic to his/her web site. And bar none the best traffic you can obtain is Organic Search Engine traffic.

So what is Organic Search Engine traffic?

Simply put, when someone is searching for a product or service they type their query into the search engine (google, yahoo, MSN etc.) and then the results of that search are displayed. And you want your web site to come up in that search query.

You probably already know that the majority of people will not go past the first page of the search engine results and even less people will go past the top 30 results. Therefore, your challenge is getting your website listed on the first page of the search engines for the keywords relating to your site.

Now there are a ton of people that will tell you there is some mystical voodoo secret mojo to SEO (Search Engine Optimization). And if you’re not familiar with the term SEO. Simply put SEO is where you build your web site in such a way that the search engines like it and the result is getting better rankings on the search engines.

Well I'm here to tell you that it is not as mystical as everyone would lead you to believe. Just like anything, advertising, google ad words, article marketing it takes constant work to achieve the results you want and in this case, that would be to maintain a top search engine ranking.

I will admit there are many things you can do optimize your web site but I am going to touch on the basics. I have been doing this for some time now. I was taught from some of the best people in the business, so I am passing onto you what was taught to me.

What I am going to share with you is for google. Since it’s the big guy on the block that’s whom I optimize my sites for. There is a lot of info I want to share with you so I have broken this article into 2 parts.

First, just as important as learning What To Do. Is learning What Not To Do.

These are known as black hat techniques. Just stay away from them, if your caught your website will be penalized or even worse banned completely from google. Then you have to start all over and that's just not worth it.

If you want even more information of the Do’s and Don’ts by Google, just type into Google:

Google Webmaster Guidelines

Ok here are the no, no's of SEO.

1) Door Way Pages. A doorway page has been designed just for the search engines and not for human beings and is redirected to the goal page. The goal page is the page you ultimately want people to see. So what the webmaster does is makes minor changes to the page and resubmits it to the search engine over and over again.

So when someone finds that page he/she is redirected to the real page and this is usually done with a fast meta refresh command. Google no longer accepts pages using fast Meta refresh. Google see’s these page(s) as duplicates and exclude them from their listings.

Don't confuse a doorway page with a landing page. Landing pages are ok as they provide a lot of information, have relevant links pointing to them and can be seen by both humans and the search engine spiders.

2) Hidden Text And Links. As the term suggests keywords and keyword phrases are hidden on the page. Usually this is done by having the text the same color as the page color.

Not only Google but the other search engines have the ability to recognize that white text is being displayed on a white background or black text on a black background and so on.

If you want to see if your webmaster has used hidden text, start by looking for large blank areas at the top, bottom or sides of your web page. Now simple scroll your cursor over the area any hidden text will appear. Or you can look at the source code.

You can also hide Hidden Text in your "ALT" tag. The “ALT” tag text will appear when you place your cursor over the image. It will also display the text if your image does not display.

If a few words or even a sentence appears that's ok. If an entire paragraph appears or a lot of words that don't read as a sentence appear, that’s bad. Your web master has tried to stuff too many keywords inside the image's ALT tag. Get rid of them.

It is best to use 4 or 5 words or a sentence of 4 or 5 words long in your “ALT” tag.

3) Cloaking. This is where the content presented to the search engine spider is different to what is presented to the browser (you). By doing this a page that other wise would not be displayed is displayed.

So what happens is the information being delivered is based on the content on the IP addresses or the User-Agent HTTP header of the user requesting the page. When a user is identified as a search engine spider, a server-side script delivers a different version of the web page, one that contains content not present on the visible page.

4) Link Farms. I’m sure you’ve heard of the term link farm. All a link farm is, is a system where all the members are linked to each other via a common set of link pages. The result is that all members have a links page with the other members' web addresses on them.

Many of these link programs have several hundred or even thousands of members, so by joining you have almost instant access to hundreds of other web sites that point links to your site. This can lead to your site looking very "popular".

The big problem with this is that you are artificially boosting the popularity of your site. You see when a spider from a search engine (Google) comes to your site it checks out your links. If it sees you have a lot of inbound links you can achieve a higher ranking because the more inbound links you have the better. However, it also checks out the quality and relativity of those links to your site.

So if you have a site about "dog training" and most of your links have nothing to do with dog training you will not receive a better ranking. In fact anyone using this type of linking will be penalized. Either your site will get dropped down in the search engines listing or you will be banned all together.

5) Duplicate Content. The search engines only want to index original content. They don't want to index the same content 1000 times. If duplicate content/site is detected only one will be indexed. The rest will end up as supplemental context and won't even rank.

6) Keyword Stuffing. Yes you need to have your keywords on your site and in your meta tags, but there is a delicate balance. Sure, you want to rank for a specific keyword and the more times you use it on the page, the more likely you’ll rank for it. Just don’t go crazy.

I have about 25 keywords in my meta tags and all of these keywords are used in the content of my site. But they are used only when the content calls for it.

Keep your writing natural and use the keywords as you feel suitable. Using them too many times will make your site look spammy, which doesn't sit well with either your human visitors or the spiders that crawl your site. Might not get you banned but you certainly won't get a favorable ranking either.

Here’s an update many search engines Google for one, do not use Meta Tags as part of their ranking system any more. However, some still do so that’s why I mentioned it.

7) Duplicate Sites. This is when you clone your site under a bunch of different domain names with the same content and then you have the pages linked together so the can get a better ranking and get the top spots for your keywords. This is a really bad idea, and sure way to get banned. Short and sweet, never do this.

Ok now you know what you should not do, let me share with you what you need to do in order to get a top ranking on the search engines. In this case specifically Google.

8 Proven techniques to generate online traffic

6:44 PM

(0) Comments

For any Internet business to succeed, generating TRAFFIC is absolutely essential. That is, finding and implementing ways to entice potential buyers to read, see or hear your sales message and then to opt-in for additional information or to purchase. Without generating traffic, it is unlikely anyone will see your message (unless they perhaps stumble upon it).

If you want to attract customers or clients, you must constantly be instituting competitive methods for creating interest and action from your target market. Your target market is the group you have identified as seriously potential buyers of your product or service.

Above all, you do not want to simply spend your time, energy, and money advertising to just anyone who will possibly listen --- that is extremely ineffective. When generating traffic, the process needs to include research and discipline when finding your possible buyers and reaching them in a way that is most profitable.

Consider these 8 traffic generating methods:

1. Use Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising, such as Google's AdWords or similar programs by Yahoo or MSN. This method does require a learning curve, so take the time to investigate how this process is successfully implemented. When you do this right, the results can be profitable. But, if you do not do your homework, it can be a very expensive learning process.

A good place to begin is to study the tutorials provided by Google's AdWords website. Then, you will also be able to find loads of additional training available by doing an online search. There is no end to the ebooks, videos and courses on the topic of PPC advertising.

And, a here's tip: to get your sea legs, you may want to start this advertising method with one of the PPC programs other than Google. It can be a little less expensive.

2. Learn the science of effective keyword selection. Here, again, the novice will find that there is a bit of learning curve. But, when you do get the hang of researching and picking relevant keywords or phrases, you are likely to attract more targeted prospects. And, when the search engines pick up on your high ranking keywords, your message is likely to be viewed by more people. A pay-per-click ad has a better chance of appearing in the initial search results pages. There are a number of very good keyword search tools.

3. Create an opt-in page where visitors provide their name and email address for further information. The opt-in page may be called a squeeze page, a capture page, an opt-in sales page or a variety of other names. But, the bottom line is that the prospect voluntarily provides their contact information and it is added to your auto-responder mailing list.

It is this list of prospects and customers that becomes your cherished source for future sales. Prior to obviously promoting a product or service, begin to develop a relationship with newly listed prospects to establish credibility. It is important for people on your list to view you as someone they can trust.

4. Create newsletters and special announcements to send out to your auto-responder list of subscribers. Establish yourself as an “expert” on your particular topic. Give your prospects or customers a reason to do business with you.

If you are communicating effectively with your list, you will generate additional traffic by giving your readers a reason to forward your message or to share details about your particular product, service, or promotion with others.

5. Write articles and press releases. By writing and submitting articles to the article directories, you implement a marketing method for potentially long-term exposure. At the end of the article you ad short informative copy about your product or service with a link to get additional information.

Submitting a press release about your product or service can create a sense of urgency and value to what you are marketing. The structure of the press release depends on the topic and where it is submitted.

6. Implement the use of Viral Marketing. This is where you take the opportunity to include your website address and a short promotional blurb to sources that are likely to be shared by others.

With this marketing method, people can become so intrigued with the message or information you provide they feel compelled to pass it along to others. For example, you can attach a creative or informative message or link to various types of media -- such as an article, some variation of gossip or buzz format, a funny video or entertaining game.

7. Join forums or discussion sites to gain information and to share your knowledge. Research forum websites for your particular topic, observe the communication exchanged on these sites, and eventually contribute value to establish your credibility as an “expert.” As with articles, you can ad a brief blurb about your product or service and include a contact link.

8. Exchange or trade links with other websites. This can be a great way to build business relationships with owners of other website or blog, and this method is free to inexpensive. Do a search for websites that will compliment the product or service that you offer. Chances are the other website owner will consider this a good move as well.

By showing each others website links, it brings additional attention to the sites -- and the search engines like to see incoming links. Also, when visitors see your link shown on someone else's site, it may appear to be an implied endorsement.

The above methods for generating traffic only represent a fraction of the tools you can use to achieve marketing success. However, these 8 traffic generating tools have proven to be well worth your time, effort and expense when properly implemented. More information about these and other methods can easily be found by doing an online search.

5 vital communication pointers for working from home

6:28 PM

(0) Comments

People that work from home and succeed have the habit of being quite active in networking and contacting people. They are communicators. The many who fail in home business ventures often lack the communication and people skills that are needed to succeed. If you intend to set up your own small business or work from home enterprise, please read the following pointers:

  1. Don’t Become Isolated: It is an easy trap to fall into to stay home and get stuck in the infinite number of websites on the net. People spend so much time reading skills books and getting ready to get ready. This would be an example of a work from home candidate who is really interested in having his or her own business but has become isolated and blinded by the home business concept. This is also an example of perfectionism where the person wants everything to be perfect before taking the really important actions. In fact, in home business start up, there’s bound to be obstacles, but if you spend your time reading about the potential obstacles all the time, you won’t get anywhere. You won’t even get the opportunity to face one of these obstacles by reading. Doing is vital, and most of the doing is communicating your ideas with customers, and business partners.
  2. Get Supported: It would be foolish to go out there with no background in setting up your own home business. Remember over 95% of home businesses fail. Don’t become part of that statistic. It would be wise to plug into a home business or government support agency to give you support, advice and possibly funding to get you going. The role of communication here is key. You want to come across as being serious about your goals, and honest about your service and skills. Your support will want to help you out but you need to help them too by preparing your plans, and following through on the advice. Keep in close touch with your support network on a weekly basis at least.
  3. Get External Opinions: This is another important pointer because you must remember at all times: you can’t do it all on your own! You may be writing info products, or you may be writing a book. You may be writing advertisements that sound or look good to you but on reference they may not be good at all. If you prepare some work at home, you should find the most educated opinions you can afford, and get their advice on your work, and after consultation, you can carry on with your efforts. This doesn’t have to be expensive either. Almost everyone knows someone who writes, or does advertising, or lectures in a college or university. These specialist minds would be often glad to help. It’s up to you to communicate your ideas.
  4. Respond to All Contacts: All business contacts you have and potential clients are the basis of your business. It is vital to stay in communication with all of these on a regular basis. If you receive questions, or comments, please always respond to these. People love communication and contact. You can become a really important point of contact if you keep these communication channels open, and healthy.
  5. The Servant Attitude: An attitude of serving and helping is always the best one to have. Be humble and when you speak to people you should be friendly and nice and look to help them out with little things to put them at ease. If you listen to any support call center, they will usually ask; “Is there anything else I can help you with today sir?” This is the way to start thinking and it will reap rewards in the long run.

Google’s AdWords network has become one of the biggest online PPC ad networks. Millions of users everyday around the world are exposed to ads from Google. How many of those are your ads, and how many out of those millions are seeing them?

You’re probably already running a search campaign, but are you on the content network? If you aren’t, well, why not? You’re missing out on the opportunity to exponentially expand your reach to customers around the world that you aren’t getting to by using search. Using Google Analytics to help you refine your Google site placement within the content network can maximize your results from a content campaign.

There are thousands and thousands of sites to choose from on the content network, but you can choose the sites where you want your ads to appear. It can be overwhelming when you’re first trying to figure out what your campaign will be. There are several ways you can run your content campaign in order to optimize the result you get.

But how do you choose which sites to advertise on? Google Analytics has a great tool to help you figure out just that. It’s the Google Placement Tool, and it’s a great way to get an ultra-targeted campaign.

Using the referring sites report in Google Analytics, you can see all of the sites that sent visitors to your site. These are usually people who are writing about your site, such as press, articles, blogs, forums, or other online publications. A lot of these referring sites are part of the Google content network, and you’re able to run advertisements on them.

So why not run your content network ads on these sites? They’ve already proven to have an audience interested in your product or service. This is a super-easy way to get access to a highly targeted audience without any extra cost.

To do this, you will have to use Google’s Placement Tool. You start by importing the list of referring sites into your AdWords campaign, and then export the referring sites list into a .csv. Next, you copy the list of sites, and then paste it into a placement targeted campaign that you’ve already set up in AdWords.

That’s all you need to do to start running a highly-targeted campaign on sites that are already talking about you. Since it only takes about 5 minutes to do, what reason could you have for not trying it out?

How Anyone Can Make Money Online with Affiliate Marketing

Despite the fact that there are so many people out there trying, it is still possible to make money on the internet. While there is definitely a lot of competition out there, it’s not so much that you can’t stand out and succeed. One of the greatest advantages of the vastness of the internet is that there’s enough room out there for all of us.

Another common misconception is that you need to already be experienced in online business if you actually want to start making money. Think about how ridiculous that is for a second. Every person who is right now making money online was, at one point, a newbie. Everybody has to start somewhere.

You just need to make sure that you’re going about it in the right way. Everybody can make a profit on the internet, but what you choose to start with will decide how long it takes you to start making money.

For me, this meant starting out trying to make money online with affiliate marketing. When I first decided to try my hand at internet marketing, you name it, I considered it: online retail, surveys, blogging. I ultimately decided that affiliate marketing was the way to go if I wanted to start to make money right away.

Now, I’m not saying that I made a fortune right from the start, but I felt that, by going with affiliate marketing, I had the biggest chance of running in the black right from the start. No matter how small my profits were, it was better than losing money!

And I also looked at it from this perspective: I was gaining more than my small profits; I was gaining experience in how to make money online.

The first big decision I had to make was what kind of niche to focus on. I could either go for what people call a “virgin niche” or a niche that hid not been discovered or exploited, or a popular niche, where there are lots of buyers, but also a lot of competition. With a virgin niche, I would not have a lot of competition, but there also might not be a lot of potential customers; with a popular niche, I’d have lots of customers, but also lots of other businesses competing for their eyeballs.

After careful consideration, I decided to go for the popular niche. And I soon began to see results, even with the hundreds or maybe thousands of other affiliate marketers that I was competing against. Because you have to remember that even though there may be thousand of people competing for sales, not all of these sites are created equal.

What I did that helped me to make money with affiliate marketing, even in a popular niche, is that I went in prepared. I researched and found a system that I knew was proven to help people succeed in affiliate marketing. I used the system and learned from their experiences which kept me from making a lot of the same mistakes when I was starting out.

There are a lot of systems out there; some work better than others. Some don’t work at all, and it’s hard to tell the difference sometimes. So I’ve done the work for you, looking into all of these affiliate marketing guides. And this is what I’ve found: that there’s only one guide that shows you how to make money online with no previous experience. The others just show you how they’re making money online (namely, by getting you to buy their guide.)How Anyone Can Make Money Online with Affiliate Marketing
